English classes are offered for ICSE, ISC and CBSE students of Classes VI–XII. The exact course depends on the student’s board and class level.

Courses include English Literature and Language for Classes VI–VIII, IX–X and XI–XII; focused English Grammar for Classes VI–XII; and Marathon Classes for eligible board-year students.

Marathon Classes are designed specifically for ICSE Class X and ISC Class XII students. The programme intensively revises the complete annual syllabus in one month before the board examinations.

Each batch is limited to 20 students so that teaching, writing practice and doubt-clearing can remain focused.

Yes. Students may attend online or offline according to their circumstances. Classes are conducted in both modes simultaneously wherever applicable, although offline attendance is recommended for better classroom interaction.

Offline classes are held at S&S Classes in Baguihati and SP Classes in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. Complete addresses and location information are available on the Contact page.

Each class generally lasts 90 minutes. A session may be extended when additional teaching, revision, writing practice or doubt-clearing is required.

Class timings are finalised after a batch meeting held in March every year. Once set, they generally remain unchanged unless a change is required by a majority of the batch or considered necessary by Sarajit Sir.

If the same batch is scheduled at the other centre, the student may attend that corresponding class online or offline. Availability depends on an existing class for the same batch.

A substitute class may be scheduled when a class is cancelled by the teacher. Ensuring complete coverage of the prescribed syllabus remains Sarajit Sir’s responsibility.

Lessons combine clear explanation, close textual analysis, focused grammar practice and guided answer writing. Smart-board teaching, discussion, regular practice and doubt-clearing help students understand the text and express their answers confidently.

Yes. Tests may be held during regular class hours or at a separately announced time. Students are informed in advance whenever a separate test session is scheduled.

Students receive academic support through Master Notes, practice material, model answers, grammar exercises and relevant video lessons according to their course and batch. New resources are added progressively.

Video backups may be made available later, subject to processing and upload schedules. Recordings are intended as additional support and should not replace regular attendance.

Admissions remain open throughout the year, subject to seat availability in the appropriate batch.
